100TH POST!!
For our 100TH post, I've decided to give you something special. After all this is quite a milestone! It takes commitment, discipline, and a huge ego to think that there are people out in cyberspace that actually care. So, for those two people that actually check in to our blog every month or so, this is for you!

The morning after.........................
A great night of fun always has a price.............
Whether is not being able to sleep in because some AHole is taking pictures at "To F'en early AM"............

Or maybe the price is swollen eyes, that feel like they're on fire.....

The point is, there is always a price to pay. It doesn't have to be a price for drinking too much, dancing to fast, or wearing heels that are too high. Regardless of what you do, there is always a price to pay for your actions. Sometimes that price make a monster hangover seem like chump change...........

St. Pete Three-peat Saturday(PM)
We printed out directions to the church from the Internet. They made absolutely no sense after we completed step 2 of 14....15 minutes into the journey we were lost. As Shelby barked out instructions and Kip phoned for help from the backseat, I made some sound decisions amidst the chaos and with a a little luck, we found the church at 6:11. The wedding started @ 6:30. It seemed like everyone else used "google" to get their map as well. Besides the wedding party, there were 5 people in the church.
The wedding started, they said "I do" and time will tell about the happily ever after part, but I wish them well.
The reception was next, and instead of writing about it, I'll let the pictures tell the story.....
There were beautiful women.........

Ummmm..there were men.........

And a whole lot of drinking, which lead to poor decision making, although it is always good for photo-ops..........

That'll be enough of that! Nobody died, we all returned safely home, and had a good time. Sometimes that is enough.......

St. Pete Three-peat(Saturday AM)
Saturday morning started out just like every other weekend morning on the West side. Megan and Shelby make a bloomin' onion on the front porch while drinking the thickest coffee known to man. Megan judges her coffee by the color, and when she makes "Black" coffee, it's Black! If the recipe calls for 4 scoops of ground coffee, then 8 scoops should be TWICE as good, right!? Then, to drown out the bitterness of this jave syrup, scoops of coffee mate and sugar are added until the gelified substance in the cup has turned back into a jaundicey yellow color. By this time, the mixture is so thick, one could actually turn the cup upside-down upon a plate and slice off pieces of coffee cake....But, i'm sure it's healthy!
My pulse raced at the sight of the concoction, so I decided to go on a walk before i went into cardiac arrest. Pete, Ethan, and Heely joined me.

The wedding was this evening and the girls had some last minute shopping to do. Off they went in a cloud of smoke. Megan, who was to be the Maid of Honor, decided that she needed a little color in her cheeks for the big show, and scheduled to have an application of "spray-tan" adhered to her skin. Instead of going into an established tanning salon, she looked in the yellow pages and hit the jackpot! She found an upstanding "artist" that would come to the house, so one could gain a full body tan without leaving the comfort of one's own home. The appointment was set for 11:00 am. $25 was the agreed upon price. What showed up at the door at 10:30 was priceless!

Tools of the trade...........

The girls had yet to return from there morning shopping, and us boys were giggling at the possibilities of what the next few minutes were going to hold for us. Would Meg go through with it? Would she turn Orange? Would "the artist" pull out his camera and take some creepy shots? Would the monitoring device on his ankle go off, prompting the S.W.A.T. team to rush the house? Our minds raced as we anxiously awaited the arrival of the girls.
To our dismay, the girls weren't nearly as troubled by his appearence nor his overtly creepy demeaner, which prompts the question: "Where do they usually hang out? And, who do they usually hang out with?" I'm still trying to figure out who is creepier. Kev the Atrist or the girls........

After a diappointing 20 minutes, it was all over, no S.W.A.T. team, no orange hue, and in the end, the man who would play Alice Cooper in a movie didn't overtly do anything creepy. Perhaps we were to quick to judge.....It is time to reflect...

St. Pete Threepeat............(Friday)
This was Shelby's interview day and it went well and she is scheduled for a second interview this week, which means another mad dash across state, then back, so we can pick up Brianna before school's out!
It also marked rehearsal dinner for the one's involved. Neither of us were in the wedding, but were invited to the dinner afterwards. As usual, the party didn't start until Shelby and I arrived.....
Before.............

After...........

After bringing down the house with "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden, I've decided to try out for American Idol next year....Watch for updates!

St. Pete three-peat...............(Thursday)
As we criss-cross back and forth across the stat of Florida, I have become increasingly more grateful that this state is a skinny little &@^#^%. We can go, coast tot coast, in about 2 hours, depending on traffic. This past weekend, Shelby had 2 interviews in the Tampa/St. Pete area, and we were going to attend a wedding. We left on Thursday, and hoped for the best.
Since so much happened, each day, I'm going to do a separate post for each day. We showed up fairly late and Ethan had learned a new trick....So, here it is....

Happy Birthy Dylon!
Valentine's Day is impossible for us to forget because 11 years ago, Dylon came into our lives and forever blessed us with his kind heart and spirit. Dylon, I hope you had a wonderful day and I am sorry that we could not be there to celebrate it with you. You are in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers every day. We love you, son. Happy Birthday!

Marina in the morning.......
Brianna has the FCAT test this morning, so we took her out to breakfast to clear her mind and fill her belly. We were served lightning quick, and as a result, had some extra time to kill before school started. We decided to drive down to the marina. After rejecting the pleas for extra change from some poorly dressed anglers and reluctantly turning down an offer from some guy inside the public restroom, I took the girls on a walk by the water.........

By this time, I think the dolphin knew we were there with a camera, and I'm sure he did this move on porpoise.....

Space Center in background across the Indian River......

The St. Pete Repeat
Shelby had a bridal shower to attend in Clearwater over the weekend, so we headed back to St.Pete to stay with the Quigley's once again. Next weekend is the wedding, then Pete's birthday the weekend after that. So, we will be racking up the miles on the ghetto sled during the month of February. We were able to do a carpool with Greg and Mac, which forced me to be on my best behavior, which in turn made me more tolerable to my wife. I'm beginning to think that she might actually like me!
We made it to the West coast without incident and geared up for Saturday..........
The girls were up early and time came for them to leave to the shower..........

With the girls gone, and gone without leaving us instructions of what to do with ourselves, Pete, Greg and I were left to figure out what to do with ourselves with out adult supervision for 4 hours.........Within 10 minutes, the first piece of furniture broken.........

30 minutes into our unsupervised fiasco, a unicycle was spotted.....Let's try to ride it!

After that inspiration, even the dog decided he wanted to ride something.......

Thanks to my "cat-like" reflexes, I was able to escaped relatively unscathed. Thankfully, I was wearing a helmet........As was Greg........

The girls finally came back, to find the three stooges playing nice together. They were so impressed, they agreed to let me take some pics of them to show how happy they were with us..........

Okay, maybe they weren't REALLY happy with us............So we decided to hit the rack.......some of us on the couch......

Sunday came and the Tyrone Square Mall was on the agenda. I was feeling really good about myself. I usually don't detect when other women are interested, but the women at this particular mall were VERY overt in their attraction for me, I had no other recourse but to return their adoration..........

All of this unexpected attention was a bit overwhelming. I was on sensory overload. I needed to clear my head and contimplate and reflect on what I really wanted.....

I decided that, especially with the way these women dressed in public, that it would be a big mistake to do anything that might jeopardize my realtionship with my beautiful wife......So, we decided to leave. But not before a little more fun........

We were then approached by a very rude guy who suggested that we move along...

I can't wait until next weekend and the wedding.....We are expecting a great time! What possibly could go wrong?
